Andrea + Max | Lionscrest Manor // The Studio Boulder | Colorado Wedding Planner

We. Love. Fall. Weddings. You may have heard us say this once or twice (or a million time) before. Max + Andrea’s Boulder, Colorado wedding day was one that you secretly wish every couple would host. They started the morning off with a beautiful ceremony overlooking the mountains at Lionscrest Manor surrounded by Fall colors. It was then followed by brunch— complete with a build-your-own omelette station, a bloody mary and mimosa bar, and a leisurely, relaxed morning spent with their family and friends. They built in a couple hours for an afternoon nap (always needed after a properly done brunch) and continued the festivities into the evening with dancing and cocktails at The Studio Boulder. Shout out to Red Aspen Photography for sharing these great photos of the day with us!

Guests were greeted by a table filled with cozy fleece blankets and shawls to keep everyone warm on the chilly Colorado Fall morning. The rustic wooden arch was decorated with festive Fall florals by the lovely Rachel, owner of A florae. Though the morning started off a bit windy, Colorado decided to play nice and calmed the winds as the ceremony started. The couple decided to pay a bit of homage to Max’s Chinese heritage and creatively planned a unity ceremony around tea (a uni-tea ceremony, get it? Sorry….we’ll stop with the puns here).

We loved how many personal details Max + Andrea brought into their wedding day. Our favorite touch had to be the 1,200+ hand-folded paper cranes which created the most stunning backdrop behind the couple’s table during brunch. Andrea spent countless hours making and assembling these beautiful strings of cranes— we started doing the math on it and determined she would have folded 3-4 cranes per day over the last year— phew! That’s commitment. Andrea + Max also chose to build their table numbers out of white Legos and placed thank you notes on each table that were written in both English and Chinese. After a relaxed meal provided by A Spice of Life and quality time with their guests, everyone had a couple hours to enjoy whether hiking, napping, or exploring downtown Boulder.

From there, the party continued at The Studio Boulder. The venue boldly rocks the industrial look but has whimsical and fun touches like neon signage and an indoor Airstream lounge for guests to enjoy. The couple chose to serve desserts and late night snacks alongside cocktails. They finished up the evening dancing the night away. Cheers, Max + Andrea! It was such a pleasure to be a part of your day. We can’t wait to see you again on your next trip out to Colorado. Xo.
