We had such a fantastic time designing the space for Denver Fitness Week’s kickoff party this past May. This event takes place annually and sells out– so be sure to get your tickets early! It is inspired by Denver’s insanely awesome fitness scene and aims to highlight Denver’s top fitness studios by offering discounted classes to it’s attendees all week long. As a bit of a fitness lover myself (my mother is a personal trainer and I grew up running after her power walking everywhere), we jumped at the opportunity to help them bring color and fun to their kickoff event hosted at Skylight.828.
Our inspiration was those fantastic 80’s fitness videos–you know ’em, you love ’em. We wanted to make the room fun and vibrant while leaving plenty of space for 150+ fitness lovers to sweat it out! We designed these fun and quirky neon signs displaying each of the 3 fitness instructors names, had the lovely Handsome Love Calligraphy create the long banners signs with inspirational fitness quotes, and incorporated uplighting by the fabulous Elite Entertainment to really make them pop.
Three fabulous instructors traded spots leading all 150 attendees in a group workout. Sound Off Colorado provided the beats via headphones provided to every guest. KEEL Vodka teamed up with Brew Dr. Kombucha to offer fantastic libations and Vega provided some delicious smoothies on the patio post-workout.
