This refreshing cocktail is a perfect offering for a spring or summer wedding and is very versatile. Switch out the lavender for any of your other favorite fruit flavors to best fit your personal tastes!

Tip #1: Choose recipes that don’t require a TON of speciality ingredients: That’s right. The fancy cocktail that has a laundry list of 28 different ingredients is going to be a tricky one to recreate for your guest list. We recommend choosing classic cocktails that are delicious and easy to make!

Tip # 2: Choose spirits that are versatile: If you choose a vodka or whiskey to use in your signature cocktails, you can offer additional mixers behind the bar for those looking for the standards like a whiskey + coke or a vodka + tonic.

Tip # 3: Pick something that YOU want to drink. We cannot stress this enough. It is easy to get caught up in the planning details and take advice from everyone else. If you are a fan of that IPA but worried your out of town guests won’t drink it, offer a variety of bottled or canned beers instead of kegs so there is something available to suit everyone’s tastes– including yours!

We’d love to hear your thoughts! What are your favorite drink recipes of the season?
